You don't have too much brass... You have too small of containers...

Depends on how much you shoot. That would be way to much for me, but my circumstances are such that I’m seriously trying to downsize.
Sounds like you're doing OK on brass, how many bullets do you have?
That is not enough for me. For you well that depends on your age and volume of shooting.
My feeling as well. At the height of the Obozo shortages brass and other reloading components were selling for way to much. New brass was scarce, over priced and fired brass, rifle cartridges in particular were selling for ridiculous prices. I avoided the price gouging by good ol'fashion horse trading here and other gun boards. One can never have enough brass, lead, primers or other components after politicians decide to end all crime.
Too much is a misnomer for some not loaded YET. I have several gals that need loading, but it's not too much till I'm dead.
With all that brass you should ask yourself if you have enough lead to go with it. I have the same problem but with lead. Maybe we should get together and do some trading to level things out.
I have come to believe honey bees are more important to this world than I am.
never too much. clean sort it and sell it to reloaders.
Since I don't have a 40 I have to go with what R5R said about that. Other than that you have a good start.
I would need more of other cals. in inventory.

Life for me is about balance. If you are short primers, powder and lead to load for it you have too much. At todays prices for brass sell some and get what you need to shoot. Like a flintlock without hardened steel it doesn't do much good to store what isn't useful. I believe you have a lot of the easiest to obtain necessity of what makes a cartridge and may not have enough of the hardest to get, reprioritize. JMO.

I don’t have enough! ( swmbo once said,” MORE brass?”) I’ll even pick up calibers I don’t own! Oh, btw, if you gotta buy a forklift to move your empty brass containers, you are almost there! Hahaha! Keep accumulating it, you MIGHT need it! Good luck.
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!
As my old hunting partner always used to say about any hobby he was involved with ... "Lots is good ... More is better ... And too much is ALMOST enough!"
