As some of you know by reading the "what are you doing at the loading bench" thread, I've been processing pistol brass for a month or more. Today while sizing 40 S&W cases I encountered one that did not fit the shell holder. I've found this is usually caused by a damaged rim. Not this time. I got to looking and its a 41AE case, head stamped 40 S&W. I don't know how long its been since I've seen a 41AE? Very interesting?

Reaching back in time when the 40 AE (Action Express) and it's ilk (50AE, 41AE, and 9mm AE) were touted in many articles as the "End All" for pistols. Haven't heard about them for quite a while now.
