Standard adding machine paper rolls at your friendly stationary store

Adding machine paper does come in different diameters and widths so a better idea of the width is needed.
Standard calculator rolls are 2 1/4. When the manufacturer or anyone else says standard paper, they mean the standard paper of the standard 2 1/4 size. A simple google search turned up verification of that fact.

You could probably even measure your existing paper with a ruler, the kind carried by 9 year old children for learning basic measurements, and come to the same conclusion.
Thanks for the link that is one I hadn't seen.
Well, I googled the paper question and brought up 4 different sizes. I guess I should have mentioned I bought the printer sight unseen without a roll of paper and I'm in the process of trying to locate the correct size paper, and a ribbon(IR-40) to have on hand when the printer arrives. Had I been blessed with the ability to read the missing specifications on the printer page of the Chrony site I wouldn't have bothered with a post. So, I'm just trying to find out the correct width which you so kindly mentioned was 2.250" and I need the correct diameter or the correct footage of the paper reel.
The diameter of the roll would be helpful since they aren't standard. Diameter or number of feet on the roll so that the roll would properly fit in the area set aside for it.

Buy the smallest roll for starters. The diameter of the roll would be helpful since they aren't standard. Diameter or number of feet on the roll so that the roll would properly fit in the area set aside for it.
BTW, didn't your F-1 come with a roll of paper?

For 10 bucks, you can order a pack of 12 rolls off the Internet and they will have it for you in the store closest to you ... https://www.officedepot.com/a/produc...dmVR:17h4h7cou

Thanks for your reply. Simple logic already told me to purchase a small diameter roll. I was however thinking that someone on the forum had to have a printer like this and would be willing to share a few minutes to take a take measure and give me a diameter of their roll. Yes, I can purchase a pack of 10 or 12 rolls and possibly end up with a smaller roll size than what the machine is designed to take and then have to carry two rolls with me every time I used the unit. I guess I will wait until the unit is shipped to me and then go out and purchase the correct diameter.
The link above is correct, I do believe, I'm not at home to check mine?
I've been picking it up at Goodwill and St. Vinny's, usually about $2-3 for several+ rolls, I probably will never have to buy another roll ever?

Ok, got the printer yesterday and found I could fit an external roll of 3" diameter by standard 2.25" width.
Be sure to buy some ink to put on the pad in case the used printer pad is dried out

My Chrony is so old the original sky screens were suspended by cardboard instead of wire rods. It has no provision for a remote screen or printer. A few years ago, I bought a newer one for my brother and it has those features. I can send mine in to be refinished and upgraded for $50 but I still haven't made up my mind. The unit still works great especially in the shade or on a cloudy day with no direct sunlight.
