did a Google search for Hensley and Gibbs Number 82 and found this:

"#82 - .348 Winchester. 220 grains at .955" length. "Made for Colonel Bailey before the Big Mad". – Note that's really what the old original book says. George Hensley probably meant World War 2, I would assume?--WCG. Gas check base, two grease grooves, one crimp groove. Drawing shows long slightly tapered nose, with wide meplat. June 6, 1941."

I have had the mold probably 12 or 13 years. It cost me an absolute arm and leg. Thumbing thru some paperwork the other day (I save all of the receipts from my molds) I found where I paid almost $200 for it. Taking a pair of calipers to the mold it looks like the OAL is 1.05", Nose width of .500, and a nose width of .255. The HP version of this mold is apparently pretty rare. It would certainly be the last mold I would part with. I love the history of our sport and passion and to me this mold is a big part of it. It may take me 20 years but I will get a deer with it. Doubt it will be tomorrow as I have to meet the game warden again about our trespassor. Somebody has been a really bad boy and is about to go to jail.....

I wouldn't part with it either and sure hope it doesn't take you 20 years to make meat with it. Get the trespasser(s) out and things will get back to normal.

I have a small 10 point buck on my wall that I killed several years ago with a 348 win. and a 250 gr. cast bullet I had made from Mountain Molds.
