.............I'll honestly say I really don't know what model this this is However it IS a Martini Target rifle. The barrel is 28" long, and it is inhumanly accurate The left side of the action is marked BSA with the stacked rifles logo. The right side of the action is marked: 1st line: Society of Miniature rifle Clubs 2nd Line: 15, ARUNDEL ST, 3rd line: London W.C. 2. The barrel has the BSA logo stamped on top by the action.
Additional bbl markings: Serial # 40571. Made by the Birmingham Small Arms Co, Ltd, England. Cartridge .220 Long Rifle.
The rear sight is a Parker Hale #7. It has a rotary disc for variable ID aperture sizes.
The front insert sight is marked Parker Hale FS 22
The forend has an adjustable hand stop (see upper right photo) on a track. The blued balls (there are 2, but you can only see one) just ahead of the trigger guard is for the sling attachment. The knurled bass cap is the threaded lid for the compartment that holds the various front sight apertures. The rifle also has a rather wide adjustable sling which has "Bent 'S' hooks" on both ends for use with the rifles' attachment knobs. Hard to see in the top photo, but at the very end of the fore end there is an oval sling swivel. The aluminum 'Hand stop' also has a 2" wide sling loop.
I campaigned this rifle with Winchester Dyna-Points (just couldn't see spending the $10/box) for the Eley Tenex at the time, as it did so well with the Winchesters
The price for the rifle (including the sling) is $500 + shipping. I can ship it via USPS or UPS. An 01 FFL will be required for shipment. A USPS MO is required for payment. Once packaged I will be able to quote shipping costs.
