that blunderbuss would be neat, but I would want it in a flintlock version. could not find any pieces of flint for sale, lots of caps but no flints.

No Traditions half-stocks over there, with a twist slower than 1/48. That's a Bummer!

wish they'd make a blunderbuss in a useful gauge. a 28 gauge buss is kinda pointless, to me anyway

Yessir I think I would as well. I'm about to build a Prairie Hawken, but if the Blunderbuss was a 10 or 12ga that is what I would have ordered. The 28 would probably be a fun gun for the kiddos.

Maybe the blunderbuss would launch tennis balls across the yard?
That could be some fun competition while the barbecue is getting ready.

I’m looking at that blunderbuss as well. I think teh barrel could be replaced easy enough. What about the lock? Is there a flintlock out there that would fit the inlet?

if you replace the barrel and the lock, what the heck is the point of even ordering that kit? May as well start from scratch

Most other blunderbuss kits start at $900. $300 at least gets you most of a kit, and I'll bet there will be much less inlet work on the stock in that kit than in a more expensive kit.

I hear you though. Barrels are not cheap.

Would be nicer if they sold one as a flinter. Then it's GTG, just replace the barrel, depending on how much meat is at the breech.

maybe the barrel is junk, and they want it flint, and the stock is the only part useable.

or maybe its just unclear thinking? $300 for the kit and then you don't use the barrel or the lock...That's a lot of dough for a beech stock and single trigger. Then lets add in their custom barrel of $250+, then of course a $200 lock..... Right. Let's think things through fellers.
