    Got a 1915 Win 1894 a couple of
    months ago.

I don’t think it was ever taken apart and cleaned. The bore is good though. Would not hardly cycle and wouldn’t lift the cartridge and if it did lift it would jam.
Took it all apart and scraped out 100 years of carbon, polished all of the surfaces replaced the carrier with one I found on gunbroker and had to work on the link with a chisel to make it lift.
Wood felt like an old fence post it was so dry and rough. Have lovingly sanded it with 400 grit very lightly now for last month and let the years of oil seep back through til it was smooth.
Took her to the range last Sunday and she ran perfect and smooth and was accurate to boot.

I am very happy with this one.

Picked up a pair of 1894CL one in 25-20 & one in 32-20 then I got a 336 Texan in 30-30. So far the 25-20 is liking Missouri Bullets 85 gr. Over IMR 4227 and Dacron, the 32-20 like the 311008 and Unique while I’m still working on the 30-30 but my light load is working good with Unique and a 120 hp gc..

I picked up a new Remlin 1894 in 45LC and sighted it in today at 100 yards with a powder coated, with Smokes powder, Mihec 270 gr SAA solid, sized .452 over 8.5 grains of 7625 in Starline brass. I'm not sure how strong the Remlin is as for heavy loads.

I picked up a ‘94 in 30-30 dated 1951 from a gentleman who’s getting too shaky to shoot anymore. His son didn’t want it so I gladly bought it off the man. Good for me but shame overall.

He guy said he bought it brand new back in ‘51 for $84 and put no more than 150 rounds through her and it shows. Hopefully my kids will take this when it comes time.

I bought a new Winchester/ Miroku. I love it. I added a Williams peep sight only because of my old eyes. The original buckhorn was just fine and accurate right out of the box, but I need all the help I can get. The trigger is unbelievable for a levergun.

Picked up an 1889 Marlin in 44 W. Maybe 10% finish with a bore I would rate at 95%+ shape, if not better

    I got a deal on a WINCHESTER RANGER 44 MAGNUM 5457### BORE .4305 (model 94?)

It is sometimes finicky chambering the next cartridge. Please PM me if you have any ideas or suggestions on this issue.

After lusting for one for several years, came across a good deal on a 1995 JM Marlin 1894CS .357. Took me all of three seconds to say yes when I was asked if I would buy it. I'm having a blast with this trim little rifle!

Have only bought 4 this year. Winchester 94 in 32 Special, Rossi 44mag, Rossi 45 Colt(24" octagon), and a Marlin 38 55 Cowboy. I think I've lost my mind.

Was able to snag a Winny Mdl 53 in 25/20 on Gun Broker, 1st time buying on line, bidding.
Had the dies for years as I reloaded for my Brothers Mdl 92, but he is in Houston, always wanted one in this Caliber.

Marlin '94 in .45 Colt with Leupold copy of 2.5X Lyman Alaskan, Browning BLR laminated take down in .308 with scout mount and scope, and Winchester Legendary Frontiersman in .38-55 with a Williams aperture sight. Once we can move around here in GA again I hope to doing some serious work on a DNR outdoor range with my chronograph included. GF

    Hi...
I just bought a new Marlin 1894 in .44Magnum on Saturday.
Took me all the way to Sunday to get around to shooting it.

Very nice rifle, in my opinion.
Not quite as nicely finished as my Cimarron 1873 in .45Colt, but it is accurate and functions quite smoothly.
