I placed a lowball bid for a 94 Winchester with a Williams peep sight on GunBroker and accidentally won it. So for the first time in my life I own a 30-30.

The receiver had a little bit of freckling but the rest was in pretty good shape for a $260 gun. The serial number indicates it was made in 1979.

Gents - I posted back on the 5th page of this thread (#86) that I found a very long sought after Win 9422M, had been looking on/off for several years for a specific type, when I finally found it about 10 months ago. So I guess this newer one, also qualifies as a new to me levergun in the past year and this year! Last night, I finally took delivery from my FFL of my longest sought after firearm, of my years of accumulating them. It was a GB find well more than a month ago, with weather delays here, getting payment and paperwork out to the seller and more delays in shipping, but most my schedule not lining up with my buudy who is the FFL. So now, finally, I'm in possession of my Marlin CCL in 41 Mag, virtually new in the original box with all the paperwork. The seller, wasn't sure if it had been fired, so he was listing it as used. Wood and Bluing are 100% and I'm smiling ear to ear! Thanks Bill in MA!

Finally found my 1886 Browning at a decent price. Have been searching for a couple of years, local pawn gun shop stopped on a whim there usually kinda high on prices saw it on the rack to my surprise their best price had me reaching for my wallet. Nice gun 2 small safe dings on the comb otherwise like new, I'm pumped my first 45 70, oh yea it's the saddle ring carbine version which is what I wanted.

I found a 94 Win in 30-30 that I could not pass up. It has 30wcf on the barrel but I don`t know the year of production.

Gradually got interested in pistol caliber carbines. Used to have a nice Marlin .357 Mag. carbine, but it didn't go bang loud enough or recoil enough to make me think I was actually shooting something. Of course, a couple of years later I started missing it. So this year I bought a Uberti 1873 carbine and a Winchester (Miroku), both in .44-40, an Armi San Marco 1892 short rifle in .44-40, and have a Cimarron 1892 saddle ring carbine in .45 L.C. waiting to be picked up at a dealer's establishment (71 miles away). These all match up with 1873 clone handguns. No plans now to revisit the .357 Mag. carbine. I've got several .357 handguns, but none of them are "old west".

Found me a used, but very very nice shape Marlin 336 in 30-30 at gunshop for $235.00. It will eventually go to JES for a .38-55 treatment.

A friend of mine just sold me a 1991 Marlin 45-70. It has less than 1 box of ammo through it. He bought it for his son in law in 91 and has had it in his safe until last week! The 22 inch barrel is great but I covet the 26 inch octagon barrel!

I just got my second lever action, my old one is a Marlin 336 in 30-30, new one is a 16" big loop Henry Big Boy steel in .41 Mag, haven't had the time to take her out yet but from what I've read on Henry's she should be a good shooter.

    For 2018 so far I have added another Winny/Miroku 1895 in .30-40... Maybe I have a problem.

I picked up a Henry Big Boy Brass in .357 Mag. I like it enough that I'm thinking another in .45 Colt or maybe .45-70.

Picked up a Marlin 336 with a Redfield Widefield scope for $325. Like new, I doubt there were more than a couple boxes of shells fired in it since it was made in 1974. Waiting for an opportunity to try 31141 and 311291 loadings in it.
