    Oldsman Master Caster Mod

    here is some pics on the build I just finish
    and note that my mastercaster is an older model and I made custom brackets for the lead pour cyl.
    and the bottom piece is thicker than the mastercaster piece to allow inside edge surface for weld too

    here some more pics on the rest of the setup
    instead of using inline t fittings I went with a manifold bock and the forth outlet of the block goes to the lube feed on the star sizer

    here is my parts list Mcmaster-Carr part #'s for my build

    qty 1 -6498K637-double acting air cylinder 3/4 bore 5 inch stroke
    qty 1 -6498K195-single acting air cylinder 3/4 bore 1/2 stroke for lead pour
    qty 1 -6071K12- clevis rod end for 5 inch stroke cyl
    qty 1 -6498K42-clevis rod end for 1/2 stroke cyl
    qty 2 -5779K157-push connect tube fitting 90 degree 3/8 tube with 1/8 npt thread one for each cyl
    qty 1 -5779K115-push connect tube fitting straight 3/8 tube with 1/8 npt thread for 5 inch cyl
    25 ft -5112K65- flexible nylon tubing 3/8 of note this is also a for a feed line to the star sizer
    qty 2 -62005k333-air flow control valve 3/8 tube note this a flow directional
    qty 1 -4501K72-standard wall brass 1/4 pipe size 1 foot long- you cut to length needed for spacers for lead pour pending on what you use as a top plate for lead pour cyl
    qty 1 -91251A370- 5/16-24 3 inch long socket head screw box of 5 note only need 2
    qty 5 -5779k116- push connect tube fittings straight 3/8 tube with 1/4 npt thread for air control valves
    qty 1 -5779k158-push connect tube fitting 90 degree 3/8 tube with 1/4 npt thread for air control valve
    qty 1 -8812K52-pressure gauge regulator 1/4 npt in and out
    qty 1 -8812K62 -mount for pressure gauge regulator
    qty 1 -1023N17-straight flow manifold 4 outlet 1/4 npt 1 inlet 3/8 npt note this also for a air feed line for star sizer
    qty 1 -5779K117-push to connect straight adapter 3/8 tube with 3/8 npt thread for in side of manifold block
    qty 6 -5779K116-push to connect straight 3/8 with 1/4 npt thread note 4 for manifold ,1 for regulator out and one for star sizer for the regulator inlet your choice I used 9151K47 1/4 npt pipe extension with female quick change coupler
    and I used a quick change coupler set for the star sizer lube pressure feed
    and option I used 3 of 4450K2 - air muffler on the air control valves to close off the exposed port, keep bugs out
    need a 5/16 - 24 tap part#2521A682
    and tap drill size letter I drill .272

    and don't forget the control panel ,control air valves, and the rear pivot block for the 5 inch cyl
    are from HATCH AUTOMATION

    Hatch , I have it dial in now for 9mm 125 rn , made about 4000 so far

    I been getting about 600+ after culling out the defects out of 3/4 of a pot

    I started using the mr bullet feeder hopper to fill the tubes for the Star, I fill the tube base down and flip the tube around
    to nose in for the star

    Cool deal.

    Remember the automation system isn’t about producing Boolits as fast as you can as it is more for making repeatable quality Boolits every time.
