    missing pewter...

    I thought I would take a picture of my latest find for the hallmark thread so I left it in the computer room only to find it had gone missing the next day

    it was found later that day on the dinner table...

    note to self : always drive over your finds with the truck before taking them into the house...

    My mother in law purposely uses a HEAVY pewter bowl for the dog's water dish...
    Looking for Ideal mold 419181 (44 Evans Long)
    "Joined Dates" are deceiving if you factor-in "lurk" dates.

    I'd find one of stainless and swap it out. You may need to water the dog for a while after the swap.

    Yup, I've had that happen also.There are still a couple candlestick holders in the house that I KNOW will be noticed if they came up missing. Kiss that goodbye.
