    Gun broker display by location?

Occasionally troll gun broker, noticed that everything I look at is at least 2 states away. Just luck of draw or is gun broker selectively displaying based on ip address? If they don't display local offerings then you can't go buy direct?

I think you are just having bad luck: I regularly have items show up from gunshops that are "in state".

I've never had them show results by location. If I want to check local shops I search by their username. Paying the tax to buy in state may turn out to be a worse deal then having one shipped here and paying the transfer fee.

It seems like every item I look at in detail, when I look at where it is at in the country, it is 200+ miles away. Apparently I choose the wrong items to pursue....

How high are the property taxes? No need to answer because I know they're the third highest in the nation. They will always find a way to get your money. I can deal w/ an income and sales tax w/ no property tax(coming soon).

If you do an advanced search you can call up items BY state.

I believe my MI search yielded 12 pages.

Yup...pretty high. If they EVER tried to institute a sales OR income tax without REDUCING the property tax, there would be an armed revolt.
No one really ever puts a pencil to the numbers to see the effect of a sales and/or income tax on the property tax. All the politicians do here is 'take the pledge" (I promise to not implement a sales or income tax), get elected, then kill you with other fees and taxes.
But let's not forget our budget is mostly profits from booze! The State owns the liquor stores and makes a fortune.....and you get nickle and dimed on everything else....fees, taxes, licenses, etc.
But I'll take it any day. NH is the best place to live in the country.

Your second link might not be what ya wanted to display. I went at the top of your page with the Winchester search results to the "ADVANCED" search & brought that page link here:

    https://www.gunbroker.com/search/advanced

The option to search by STATE is about halfway down the page.

So long as don't live in MA North part of NH and participate in town meetings not that bad.

Wife and I moved here over 30 years ago and my property taxes still have not reached what I paid in MA and we are on 7 acres here VS 10,000sq foot lot in MA 30+years later. Never mind in MA we also paid sales and income tax NONE here in NH

Glad to help out. Although Woody1 was the one who was trying to do the same thing, so I think the credit lies there. I just gave him an "assist" to try to help out.

The Winchester search I posted was for MI. I simply used the advanced search for Winchester in MI. If you notice all the guns listed are from MI. Sorry for the confusion.

I pretty much start any Gunbroker search by limiting it to KY. That way I can pick it up and save shipping and transfer if it’s close enough. I figure any out of state purchase adds about $50 by the time it ships and I pay the fee.
