Ya'll should see my desk right now... Four open reloading manuals, printed data (from Nosler, Hodgdon, and Western Powder), and a half-dozen tabs open on my browser.
My upcoming challenge is this: Working up loads using two different bullets (Nosler 155gr and 190gr CC's), two different powders (Ramshot TAC and Win 748), for two different rifles (DPMS LR-308 and 308 Win T/C Compass). Common denominators will be LC brass and CCI BR2 primers.
The plan is to use the incremental ladder method to quickly identify the nodes/loads that should work well. I don't mind spending the time loading ammo, or burning through powder/primers, I just don't want to consume any more bullets than necessary (even though I bought both bullets for stupid cheap).
Right now I'm looking at burning through 104 bullets/primers, and consuming a little more than half a pound of powder. Not a big deal. What's really precious is my available range time, and how far I have to drive to get there.
Any input on how I should be doing this better/quicker?
