Texan Shot Shell Loader question...

I found this Texan loader at an estate sale, and I've been cleaning it up. I want to take the shell plate off the central shaft, but I'm not clear about the proper procedure. There is a large bolt attaching the shaft to the base... looks like I can drop the shell plate off the bottom of the shaft if I remove it... there's also the top end, but it has a spring wound up inside that big top end. I'd like to clean that out, too...

Anybody know the right way to disassemble this beauty?? Or have copies of instructions, parts, etc???

The shell plate is in two pieces.
Loosen the allen screws in the stage nut, and unscrew the stage nut
Loosen the allen screws in the rear of the measure cam holder
Lift it up
Unhook the shell plate halves from each other.
