    Just a question for my own edification but why would the dies for a 7x57R be different than for a 7X57 - other than the shell holder of course? Curiosity has the best of me here.

    I think the reason is if you full length resize the dies for the 7x57R will allow for the rim of the case when properly setup to full length resize
