So funny, I just did an internet search for 30 carbine cast loads. What I ended up putting in the search engine was -" Larry Gibson 30 carbine cast bullets." I'm finding I do this a lot, looking for cast info. For a while now, I thought it would be cool to be his neighbor. You know, really get to no the man, find out what he's really like, pattern his behavior carefully and go through all his cool stuff when he's not home.
All kidding aside, Thank you Larry for all the good insight and if you wrote a book or someone compiled all of your posts - I'd certainly buy it.

I’ve suggested to Larry on more than one occasion that he write a book, so, yes, I would certainly buy one.

Motor - original 30/30 FTX factory stuff was shorter by 0.010. They recommended trimming shorter also. IIRC, the 308MX was the first then the 30/30 and they are/were different bullets. Cannular is in different location. I have some factory ammo & both original bullets. 10 thous. don't make any difference in my 30/30. Oh , their brass had an unusual crimp - serrated case mouth.
    Whatever!
