Can you size the 240 grain FP bullets so that after powder coating they measure .429 or .430

Is the question sizing the bullets prior to coating or after coating. We cant size those IN .429 diameter either way.

Not sure if this is proper, but I got ahold of a Henry Big Boy about 3 weeks ago in 44 Magnum/44 Special, and I have tried 44 Special 240 grain HSM cowboy factory loads, and they mostly keyholed at 16 yards; then I tried hand loaded 240 grain Speer swaged .430" swc's, yesterday, they were not as bad, but a few keyholed. I am thinking hard cast 240 grain SWC's sized at .431" might be the ticket. I am curious as to whether you've gotten feedback on using yours in the Henry. Your opinion? I am trying to just use one load in the Henry and in my Lipsey Ruger 44 Special SA.

Slug you barrel. Eliminate the unknown. Inspect your barrel and remove any lead fouling. No negative feed back on these yet. Send a pm and tell me what you find .
