Man, those look familiar. I just can't place them. Seems like have worked on whatever it is they go with. You might have better response if you post the image in your first post instead of just a link.

PM me if you need help posting photos.

what kind of other stuff in the box. Size? any other clues might help. Sure seems like I've seen something like it also.

They look familiar to me, too. Am thinking they came out of a 1911 or M1 Garand.

Not 1911 parts. They came in a box of reloading stuff, A rockchucker press, dies, and brass that was given to me 2 years ago. There was a chunk of white plastic in the center of the round part of one, as if it had a knob or wheel that had broken off.

I dont know how to post pictures in the thread without photobucket. I'll see if I can figure it out.

    Figured out imgur.

Looks similar to some belt fed starter tabs.

They don’t index anything though, just poke them through the gun and grab them from the other side to start a new belt without opening them up.

It looks like it could be a chain stop for a light duty chainsaw sharpener. But I can't find any matches for it.
I give loading advice based on my actual results in factory rifles with standard chambers, twist rates and basic accurizing.
My goals for using cast boolits are lots of good, cheap, and reasonably accurate shooting, while avoiding overly tedious loading processes.

Do you trust your casting thermometer?
