    Gun World mag: Smoothbore Revolvers

Many moons ago I subscribed to Gun World magazine when Dean Grennell was editor. I recall an article where I think they were Ruger Blackhawks with all but the last inch or two of rifling removed for the purpose of shooting shotshells but still legal in ATF eyes.

Anybody remember this article and what they were called? They had a name sort of like Drilling if I recall....

They were also respectable with regular cartridge ammunition. This was before the Judge came out
And just for your info... casting with a single cavity is about as close as you can get to zero production, while still having some production. -- Whitespider

Parodox. Hamilton Bowen built at least one. The British used to make double shotguns like this and called them Paradoxes. You could shoot tigers and stuff with your bird gun.
