Nice scope Bo. I hope you get it sold
Does it have the screw on caps? It looks good from the small pics. Does it have rust, blemishes?

Brings back memories of the late '50s and shooting flyspecks at the NG armory indoor range (another thing of the past). Free bump for a classic scope.

I gotta say, I'm surprised this is still here. If I didn't already have like 8 of them, I'd jump on it. Maybe the crowd over at ASSRA Forums would be more receptive?

When was it manufactured, do you know?

You have a great scope that does not quite have the cult status of Unertl.
The number of people who appreciate it or even know what it is grows smaller each day.
Technology has passed it by (as has it most 50 year old items) but it will still work great on a classic target or varmint rifle.
Not sure this is the best venue to sell it. There are always a bunch of scopes like this on Fleabay.
Good shooting !
TAC14, I agree that scope technology has surpassed this type of scope but the new scopes are meant for bolt action rifles and will not work on many old single shot rifles because they do not have enough eye relief. I found that out when I bought what I thought was a great scope for the single shot I had. It was made by Unertl but marked Remington. It was 20x and had a one inch tube. It was equipped with out side mounts and was just like new. I took it to the range and mounted it on my rifle. I quickly found out that it had very little eye relief, maybe an inch or less. I found out later that it was designed for the Remington model 700 varmint rifle. If this Lyman STS was listed on the ASSRA website, it would probably have sold the first day. My two cents worth.
