Cast Performance Boolits using clear lube, or paint?

Saw this at the store. Looked at the boolit, didn't even look like it had lube.

    Maybe powder coated?

Could be, I have seen clear powder coat. Never seen a comercial cast with clear coat on it, but I don't see many comercial cast anymore except in when I'm picking off the berm.

I don't think Rooster Jacket (or Floorwax) would held up that good at higher velocites. I only find good pic at Midway but from what I can see I don't think it's a clear powder coat eather.
Maybe a mix with HBN in it.

    Clear Lube

I Bought some of the Clear Lubed Boolets, 200gr .4515 tried to drive them at 770fps in a new match barrel. The leading was absolutely gross from the leed to the muzzle.
Going to try lubing them in the 450 and see if that will help

Might be too hard for that low velocity.

Could be that the diameter is too small and you are getting gas cutting. Or at least that would be my guess.
