I have come across a couple dozen sticks of Rooster Red. Some of them are in boxes and some are loose. The lube is in stick form with a hole down the middle and is quite hard. Once in the grooves and cooled down, it stays there. Is this like gold or "meh"? Is it worth saving for only special occasions or have better solutions been found in recent years?
I've been using it in my Saeco lubrisizer. It needs to be heated, which is fine, but the holes in the sticks make it a little tough to load it into the tool efficiently. Did people melt this stuff and pour it in the Saeco sizers, then let it cool? I've done that with other lubes. I have a lot more dies and punches for the Saeco sizer, so I tend to use it most often.
