The new Lyman case prep center

Anyon have one? What do you like or dislike about it? To you is it worth the money? Does it ease in the process of preparing cases?

I have one. It has good power and comes with pretty much everything needed. It's a good tool to have - I consider it worth the money. Having used both the Lyman and RCBS units for quite a while, I'd hate to live without either one or the other. They really speed up case prep.

I've had one for several years so maybe they're not that new unless I've missed the intro of a new one. It is a FAR better tool if you add the Hornady primer pocket reamers. They're made of SHARP tool steel and cut the crimp of military crimps away effortlessly with no risk of cutting the primer pocket deeper since the end doesn't cut. The large and small reamers are $9.99 each at Brownell's/Sinclair and the kit with large, small and the handle is $19.99 so might as well buy the whole kit.

It is a nice tool, fairly quiet and it has adequate power to not bog down. IMO it's indispensable for processing large quantities of military brass.

I'm very happy with mine, I have arthritis in my hands pretty bad and I probably wouldn't reload many rifle cases without the case prep center.

I have Lee case trimmers set up so I can trim on the prep center as well.

I used to use it to remove the primer crimp on the Lyman also, but switched over to a Dillion Super Swage (also pricey but worth it if you do a lot of military brass)

I would recommend it to anyone.
