My leg and I spent a wonderful last day together today. We kept busy so as to keep my mind occupied. It's been a good last day and included doing Pilates one last time, visiting with Dakota my son and fixing the truck. You have been a good leg and you will be missed, thank you for all the years of support!

I was looking at a similar situation not that long ago . It's hard , I opted to try and save it . Many times have wish I had chosen to go with a prosthetic . I understand where your at .
I am praying for a successful surgery , a quick recovery time and short rehab period . GOD is with you . I am optimistic .

Prayers for a speedy recovery and do not push it, let things heal before trying to use a prosthetic. Friend didn't and it cost him the rest of his leg from infection
