    WTS, M1909 Argentine cavalry carbine

    ...................This M1909 Argentine Cavalry carbine, caliber 7.65 x 53.

Mannlicher stocked Argentine rifle/carbine. I've seen them labeled "Cavalry Carbine" and also, "Mountain Carbine" by the few retailers offering them for sale at the time.

This is a nice rifle, and has very nice wood, plus the bore is nice and bright. I haven't slugged it yet but can if someone wants that info.

The rifle/carbine is all correct and is complete. All serial numbers match.

Priced at $500 plus shipping to any C&R or 01FFL holder. A postal MO is preferred for payment.

Also available is 50 rounds of Frontier headstamped brass. FL sized, casemouths chamfered, primed. Unfired $30.00

They all were last time I looked. My carbine is in the 7.65 caliber or else I`ve been shooting the wrong ammo in it for the last 15 years.Robert

The FMAP manufacture Mausers and Colt 1911 are fully the equal of the originals IMEandO.

Some of the 09 Argies were converted to 30/06. I had one briefly in the early 70's. Mine however was full length rifle not the carbine. Don't know if the US importer converted any carbines.

Can’t imagine the conversion would be accurate, since they have a .311 bore.

To the OP, that’s one of the nicer ones I’ve seen.

It didn't shoot clusters but the so-called minute of deer accuracy was more than sufficient.
