Denny is anxiously awaiting a new flinter that one of our members is building for him. I suspect once he gets it, he won't be doing as many videos!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

It's Tim Mitchell, who I will say is a better gun builder than I am.

He is good, and has been a teacher to me for 35+ years of gun building. I'm happy I can teach him a few tricks now and then.

Hope this is ok, anyone know of a maker named Henry? Was told he passed in the 70s? Have a chance for one of his long flinters in 45. Beautiful rifle with brass hardware and inlay. Thanks.
