Cast Boolit Jinx

Friday 7.7X58 with cast BOOLIT and I did not see a thing
Saturday 338 Mag with 200 grain RCBS and did NOT see a thing. two spooked and wheezed for 10 minutes close behind me.
Sunday I hung back to begin cleanup, loaded the 7.7X58 with 150 NBTs, same windage, different elevation from the cast (perfect for distance) so can shoot both at their intended distances and set it on the picnic table in the back yard. Yes, I stopped cleaning looked out and two crossed the pasture . . . SLOWLY . . . out back. Looked at them through the scope, put the gun down and went back to cleaning . . . never even closed the action.

Cast boolit loads in the gun or carry the pistola and NOTHING ever happens.

Gonna try carrying cast in the 45-70 next to break the jinx. That gun has not killed anything since the 50s.

I too have had guns, loads that seemed to be jinxed. Ive found that if I just keep hunting with them eventually the seal will break. After that all seems to be well.
Ive also had guns that seemed to be lucky.

And I thought I was the only one who thinks this way...from fishing to hunting to geez even the weather. I always feel jinxed. And I haven't even gotten into bow hunting...that I'm no doubt jinxed. Haha

what you do is turn around 3 times hopping on one foot saying bad jinx the hole time and see what that does for you that will break the jinx or your leg one D Crockett

My wife bought me a Tikka T3 25-06 and I developed a super accurate fast load. The first year I missed 2 deer, a coyote, and a few varmints. It was jinxed until I head shot a spike and a racoon.
That took the stink off and I do well with it now!

Yeah, I've got guns like that.
One is my .338MXLR. I've burned one spike with it with a near miss on a shoulder shot, off-hand behind me. Got him a month later with a 200gr RCBS FNGC from my "lucky" .35Rem. He had a 4" long 1/2" wide scar with no hair on it, on his left shoulder.

The .338 "missed" with a 27yd shot (stiff trigger, since remedied), but nailed with a 105yd shot from the .35 with a "home made" bullet.
Go figure!!!

oh one thing I forgot to tell you is you have to turn to the right to break the spell if you turn left it will make the spell stronger D Crockett
