I am looking for a shellholder for this cartridge, I have checked all the charts and nobody lists this cartridge, Anybody know of a shell holder that might be modifird to fit,

i believe the parent case is a 500 base. In Wrigt's book He groups this cartridge basicly the same but a longer case.
500/450 NE 3.25
450 #2 NE 3.5 case
I have the dies and Trim for this . At one time i was Getting a Double . But it fell through
I do have a Double in 500 3" and a 50/70 does works but a little sloppy

If I need an odd size shellholder,I generally choose a somewhat bigger one and make a washer type adaptor that slips over the case and provides a "false rim".Making a shellholder on a lathe isnt easy,but I have some early ones that were,and the diameter is cut away at the half point,so that no milling machine was needed.....Anyhoo,I assume you dont want to full length size or case form,just necksize and prime.

Ch4D, whom I've found very obliging and reliable, list it as 408475 (because it is the same as the .475 No 2 Nitro Express), or 475 in their shellholder ordering page. I don't know if it is a special order item, which takes a while with them, but there are a lot fewer head sizes than cartridges, so maybe not.
