Here's a 9mm conversion that you don't have to have a different lower with the special 9mm mag well, you just use your 5.56 lower and of course you'll need a 9mm complete upper. I personally feel the mag well adaptor is overpriced and near the price where you can can purchase a dedicated 9mm lower. Enjoy the video.

Interesting, they also have a 40 cal bolt so that seems a possibility as well.

Yes for the many Pistol Caliber Carbine events which are popping up in USPSA shoots and probably IDPA shoots as well one of these would be very cool.
That Stern Defense Conversion is by far the best one I have seen. The Mag well adapter is the key to the whole thing, and theirs is well thought out and seems to work flawlessly.

I think Olympic arms 9mm uses a standard lower with a mag inside a standard ar15 mag.
