44 Magnum is by far my favorite caliber.

    I also really like

    .223
    9mm
    303 Brit
    8mm Mauser
and though I haven't shoot it much yet since I just got it, 6.5 Creedmoor is a great round that I really enjoy shooting.

    222
    223/5.56
    6.5X50
    6.5X257
    7mm TCU
    7.7X58
    30 Herrett
    357 Mag
    45-70

7.7X58 is fun cause it is still mostly stock (missing upper handguard) and shoots 150 gr. RCBS @0.310" in little groups at 50 yards even with a HORRIFIC trigger (must be 20 #s).

Don't know if I have a favorite, these are the ones that went with me to the range to most (5 minimum):

    8x50r, 30-06-M1/1903A3, 30 carbine, 450/400 N.E., 375 H&H, 22 Hornet, 204 Ruger, 30/40 Krag, 303 British, 318 Westley Richards, 22 LR, 45 ACP, 45 Colt, 8mm Mauser and 450 N.E.

The top 5 by volume, 06, followed by 45 ACP, 45 Colt, 204 Ruger, 318 Westley Richards.

Absolute volume plus times to the range 12/20 gauge for skeet/5 stand/sporting clays.

Forgot 5mm pellet, Sheridan silver streak, .177 pellet, Benjamin 347.

Top 5 calibers for 2017, based on round count.......

    1) 223 Remington
    2) 40 S&W
    3) 38 S&W
    4) 357 Magnum
    5) 22 Hornet

22-250 almost edged out the 32/20. And after a couple weeks' inventory of fired stuff, the 22 Hornet edged out the 32/20 WCF for #5. "Measure twice, cut once".

I managed to NOT fire one round of 9mm all year, though Marie emptied out a whole bunch of those throughout the year through her P-228. She can REALLY shoot that little monster.

I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

That had better be my favorite.....at least for a while.

Yeah, in a couple of years when the hype fizzles out and brass becomes a nightmare to find. Think: Winchester short magnum...LOL.
Not saying it's not an awesome cartridge cause it is, it's just that 'NEW' cartridges rarely survive. VERY few have come along in the last decade that are still around. None have ever seems able to knock the old work horses off their pedestal.
When dealing with islam one should always ask themselves: "What would Leonidas do?"

Exactly why I bought a .243W after many conversations with a good friend about his 6mm CM. I’ll sacrifice 50-100 fps in exchange for a sure supply of brass.
I passed my last psych eval, how bout you?

On at least 5 occasions would be 9mm, and 7.62x54R

But now that I have finished my first ever AR-15 build, I think .223 is going to make its way onto that list pretty easily. And I'm hoping to add 380 Auto in 2018 as well.
Currently in the process of developing the "perfect" cast .223 load for my AR-15. Click here to follow my progress
