No question anything in a revolver but my #1 would be 38spl followed by moon clipped 45acp then a toss up between a 500 and 44mag. For non potty trained i shoot a few 9mm. Sometimes I like to sprinkle in some 22's
Sometimes it takes a second box of boolits to clear my head.

Some of my favorite recipes start out with a handful of depleted counterbalance devices.
I like a lot of calibers, unique stuff is fun.
Lately I've been having a blast with .32sw longs in a pair of H&R revolvers.
Today while browsing through the forums I find a Rem Rolling Block #4 for sale for 500$ in .32sw long. Yeah, match made in heaven.
Been relined, switched from rimfire to centerfire. So it probably is not so much a collector piece.
That just means it brought the price down to what I could actually afford. So I was able to buy it not just dream about it.
Will still make a fine wall hanger and range toy.
I have my combo. And .32sw is easy to load, rimmed cartridge, straight walled, brass is not that expensive or hard to find.
I am becoming a real fan of Starline brass.
Still, so many calibers, so little money, and time is slipping away fast on me.
He who dies with the most toys wins right?
Hands down favorite is a Ruger .45 Colt Bisley that Hamilton Bowen converted from a 6-shooter to a 5-shooter that he calls a .45 Magnum. Has tight chamber dimensions that do not stretch Star-Line brass all out of shape. I cast a 340 grain WLN (wide long nose) LBT gas checked boolit lubed with my version of FWFL. Over 24 grains of H110 and a CCI Mag. primer that boolit does 1,400 fps. However, it does kick like a mule! Don't get many folk who want to shoot it more than once. Have plenty of others but that's my favorite gun and caliber. It also gave me my handle. Whenever I was at the gun club, guys would ask me if I was shootin' the big boomer today. Then they just started calling me Big Boomer. It is a bit hard on the ears. Any time I shoot it I use both plugs and muffs. Big Boomer

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? (Sgt. Oddball, KELLY'S HEROES)
