Is that the one with the PID temp control built in?

The lee 10 pound was a pain and the 20 was an upgrade but left me wanting more. Something like the lyman or one of the 40 pound pots was a thought of mine for a while, then the thought left and I just decided to build myself a 100 pound pot.......then a casting machine, and then automated that, but that's all another thread. A few of the boolits I use will still get cast by hand, so I'll have to either mess with the lee again, or take the spout off the big pot and use it for hand casting.

Let us know how that pot works out.

Good Luck with your new pot. Let us know how you like it once you get it fired up.

My old saeco gave out this summer and I bought one. I have a couple of issues with mine. The mould guide fits lyman and rcbs blocks, but my LBT and Mountain Mould are too big. I made an oak filler so the guide is more like a table when using those moulds. I also was having an issue with a bit of dripping, as I was removing the valve rod to polish the seat, I managed to break the screw that adjust the pour rate. I replaced the screw and am back in business. Otherwise, I have been very happy with it.

I will say that it takes a looong time to empty the pot.

Had mine since 2015 and no problems other than an occasional "Error" message on start-up. Unplug and re-plug and it goes away.

This is what I did to accommodate any mould other than bottom pin HPs

I just flipped the guide upside down which works fine, NOE also sells a replacement guide.

NOE has a mold guide for it that is great, I highly reccommend it. For years I had a Lee 10lb pot, upgraded to a 20lb pot. Last year I got the Lyman 25, HUGE upgrade, especially after getting the NOE mold guide a few months ago.

Seems that all the older Lyman products are getting a facelift. And here I sit with a Mag 20, new, still in the sealed box waiting to be put to work. Oh, well.

I have a magma caster. My first one lasted about 6m, then the coil temp control pooped out. The replacement one has been going fine for 15y now so I wouldn't condemn the product for one bad exp. The new RCBS looks promising as well.

The pot got here. Hooked it up and cast a few 360 gr. 4570's. I think I'm going to like it. Some drip but nothing like the Lee. Will be flipping the mold guide. My hollow point mold won't fit the rails but I cast a few anyway.
