    WTB Reminton 700 sling

I'm looking unsucessfully for the leather simple adjustable sling that came with the 700 BDL rifle. I've tried Remington and GPC with no luck. Does anyone have one or two extra?

Are you sure they came with a sling? I've never found one that fits with out some work,Remington used a smaller, swivels back in the day.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left.

There is an unused one on Ebay. I have several but use them. Most folks don't know about them

I've picked up lots of different slings - but would need a picture to figure out if what I have is what you're looking for!

Yes, they came with the BDL for a period of time. I helped my best friend open the box of his 1972 .270 BDL and the sling was on the gun.
Blanket described it perfectly although the ones I've seen were cordura colored (dark brown).

I have several, but they are the slings that I use. I got mine at gun shows. Most want the fancy or real wide slings.

I share your taste in slings. The Remingtons stay out of the way till needed.

I've had this 7/8 inch one for many years, I don't remember where I got it. The second one is 1 inch and had brass screws that scratched the wood so I replaced them with leather. Is this sling a need or a want?

A need and a want. I want one because I'm tired of all the other styles of slings I have. Therefore I need one or two. I have no idea where mine went. I probably gave them away generously in a gun trade.

I wasn't sure if you needed it to be 7/8 inch, Montana rifle slings has one inch ones.
