It looks funny to me, but the seated depth is where it meets the rifling. It feeds great from the magazine. These are gas checked and obviously powdercoated, they weigh 160 grains.
What powders have you used, sub or super loads?

I use it in the .308 Win. I'm sure you will like it!

This load is about 1345 fps. 1-10" twist 20" barrel.

1680 should work. Problem is seating depth. See how much powder will fit in case, check sub loads to insure load is safe. If an AR I'd back off the bore a bit. Don't know if it will cycle ok. Or find a different mould.
    Whatever!

I'd think that you could get a nose sizing die from NOE so that you could seat the bullet further out, assuming the magazine will accomodate it.

I use that bullet in my .30-30 single shot. Best bullet I've found so far.

I'm surprised they only weigh 160gr. I use the 160gr 2R TL powder coated. Mine weigh between 166 and 168 grains depending on if they are gas checked or not. I haven't tried them super sonic yet from the BO only non cycling sub-sonic.

Here are some with gas checks. I don't have any photos with them loaded in the BO yet but can post a OAL if needed.

They aren't. The 466 is a Loverin design.

I think he knows they aren't 311466's and is suggesting a different bullet. But I've been wrong before.

I decided to go for it and loaded up a few. The group pictured was with 7.0g of Blue Dot. They did not cycle my carbine gas system which I figured would be the case. They are slow and pretty quiet. It made me laugh a little to hear the gun go off, then hear it smack the target at 50 yards and then hit the berm. I think I will load them again but probably try to get them to cycle next time.Click image for larger version.

Yes they are Lee 160gr 2R TL. No I'm not suggesting he use a different boolit, I was simply posting my experience. I'm using 4.5gr Bullseye in my subs. My accuracy is at least as good as what's posted in the photo.
