    onion skin paper

    Got lucky today and picked up a box of 9lb Gilbert onion skin paper . now I have to find a pp mold.

    Measure the paper at several places to .0000. then slug the barrel. this will give you an idea of bullet dia you will need. Paper thickness X4 - bore dia ( for bore riders) groove dia ( for full dia) will give a close idea of needed bullet dia. Reason of X4 is there are wraps of paper or 4 layers 2 on each side. Buffalo arms sells smooth sided PP bullets in several weights for testing or experimenting. A template is handy for cutting patches better is a paper cutter modified to do it.
