    The shooters world web site in the bulk powder section lists it on a burn rate chart in the same tier as win 760 and h414. It doesn't give a description but I would expect st. Marks to be ball powder.

    Nothing? looking to buy 8 lbs & only (data) May be similar to SHP 761 (power pro 3000) per (ballistic assistant burn rate chart ) Note: labeled as not secure. Seems I am spinning my wheels in terms of researching data for the SHP 761. Another question that comes up is if SMP 763 is relative to ST Marks Powders then what is SHP 763 relative to? What's with the H?

    Anything with SHP is going to be a single perf powder, similar to a stick powder. SMP is generally ball powder, SHP is magnum rifle stick type powder.

    761 works in 30-06. 150gr pill with 52.3grs nets you around 2900fps.

    St. Marks makes only ball powders.
    I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

    Yeah, that's not entirely true. They primarily make ball powders but they do have a small line of single perf extruded powder encompassing the SHP line.

    Will 2nd that;

    Received some MP501 & MP502 or similar to SHP 761 & SMP763 respectively. Extruded & ball powder respectively. This thread is the first load data I have encountered that was relative to the SHP 761.

    Expect the MP501 may be a bit slow & bulky for the 6mm ARC. Hoping to share more on the MP 501 experience soon.

    27 grains was as compressed as id go & was good for just a bit over 2500 FPS from a 22" bolt action with a 103 grain ELDX. Accuracy was right at MOA at 100 yards on this 12 degree above zero this afternoon.

    With Varget offering 2700 FPS & LVR pushing 2800 FPS I expect the MP 501 will loose consideration for the 6mm ARC bolt action.
