I got my Remington Rolling Block in .32 rimfire up and running again. I got a couple of the reloadable brass cases from Dixie Gun Works in .32 Long, and you can use .22 blanks but I took and removed the bullets and powder from some .22 shorts and used them instead. I filled the case with Hogdon's Triple 7 FFG and used .310 roundballs that I filed down on the bottom to get a better seal with the powder (can't have any air in between). Then I seated them tightly but not too tight on the powder and shot the gun at 25 yards. The group size isn't great, but considering there are no commercial loads for the .32 rimfire, this is actually pretty good, the gun is back in action. I will take and weigh the lead balls out and when I file them down try to get more consistency, along with that and the powder charges.
