    Shooters world Buffalo Rifle powder?

i seen the shooters world branded (lovex ) around more and more its a good $30 cheaper than most 8lb jugs of powder

Wondering if anyone has tried the Buffalo Rifle or the Match Rifle powder. Figure stock up on some powders ? The price is tough to not look into it.

There is no Lovex powder sold by Shooters World named Buffalo Rifle ...

I would not be afraid to buy it. I shoot ETR7 which is Spanish CBS1 and it is excellent powder comparable to TiteGroup for many calibers including shotshells

Maybe not made by lovex but they do sell buffalo rifle. I went buy assumption from the same link you provided shooters world powders source is lovex.
As soon as I see what's left in the Xmas jar after the presents are bought I will see what I order.

Judging by the D060-01 it used to be called Cowboy.

The Shooters World powder burn rate chart shows this as quite similar to 5744 which is a great cast bullet powder but at the high end of the price scale. If this Buffalo Rifle powder performs like 5744 it is going to be very nice stuff to have around.

I shot some today substituted the same charge as 5744 in my Finn and it shot just about the same right down to the mummies left in the barrel actually it might have shot a tiny bit better for sure worth buying and working up a load.

OK, I unwrinkled this Shooters World "Buffalo Rifle"
    * It is Lovex D060 and the European loading data says it can be used for 45-70 only
    * It is listed by Shooters World as being comparable to Accurate 5744 and Alliant 300-MP
    http://shootersworldsc.com/wp-conten...ual_103017.pdf
    * Shooters World lists it as a loading powder for nearly every caliber 'known to man'
*Buffalo Rifle may be used to make reduced loads in virtually every caliber.
Two calibers not listed for this Buffalo Rifle are 32-40 and 38-55 which also 5744 and 300-MP are proven loading charges (both powder charges listed on the ASSRA forum)
It's interesting to see the comparable of Buffalo Rifle to Alliant 300-MP because this powder is for magnum pistol charges yet several of us on the ASSRA forum have developed charges for the 32-40 and 38-55 calibers and is currently be used in match powder charges

One has to contact Shooters World where to buy Buffalo Rifle ...
