    WTB/WTTF - Remington 35cal 200gr round nose bullets

Looking for some Remington 35cal 200gr round nose bullets. Anybody have some they would sell or trade? I’d take a few hundred if you have them.

Haven't seen them for sale in years. Have you considered a competing bullet from Sierra or hornady?

I am quite aware that Remington has discontinued selling these, but they are the hands down best performer for 35 Remington. I’m using Hornadys currently, but would love to find some more Remington’s.

It would help us if we knew this.

Single shots and bolt guns have far more choices than levers or pumps.

I’m really not looking for other alternatives or suggestions. I’ve used many different brands and styles of bullets. I’m only looking for Remington 35 cal 200gr roundnose.

    Oooooo-kay.

It's just a simple unbonded cup and core bullet. I kinda doubt it would show any superiority in accuracy or game performance to any speer/sierra/hornady.

The only one that is different is the 200 gr Hornady Flex Tip that extends the cartridge's potential 50 yards.

I'd also opine that, given the limitations of the 35 Rem, many cast boolit loads would be just as good as a basic cup & core bullet.

I don’t know about that, there’s a big difference in expansion between a Hornady interlock and a Remington core lokt. At least in my 35 Remington.

    To the op
I to wolf love to find a stash of these for my 35 Remington

I will eagerly await to see the side by side ballistic gel tests of all available 200 gr .357-8 cup and core bullets as well as the Remington version.

This well regarded test concludes that the Remington bullet is/was superior to all the others tested except maybe the 180 Speer. I've run out of the Remington bullet and will be seeing how my rifle likes the Speer. It shoots the Hornady 200RN well, but it's longer range performance was concerning. Maybe there was an anomaly in the test because they looked good up to 100yds.
