Newly made turret press heads

Anyone know of anyone making turret press heads for presses other than Lee?
I'm wondering of any for the Redding t 25 press, or even the t7.

The T-Mag from Lyman (I think)?

Personally, I would go with a Redding T-7 if you are just looking for utility value of being able to do things with a rock solid press. But that is me.

I know what you mean. The redding t7 press is a good one. So is the 25 but the extra turret heads are rare or hard to find. And as far as i know a t7 head will not fit a t25.

Maybe you could find a machinist here or in your local area who would copy the one you have, for spares?

I just bought a old(50s) vintage Lyman Tru Line Jr. turret press & am having a machinist convert it from the 5/8-8 threads to the 7/8-14 threads for me to use with all the modern thread dies I have. Once that is done & see if it works well enough, I am going to ask him about making a few more copies later. Perhaps you can find something like that.

Great idea. What is he charging per hole? I can imagine a t25 or t7 head cut for the Hornaday lnl die bushings.if you did it that way you really would not need extra heads.

Or you could just get a Co-ax and swap dies without the need for turrets or bushings, faster than either too.

His dad was a gunsmith & machinist for years & Joe C. kind of took over along the same lines, having grown up around it, but mostly has worked in machinist work side, with occasion firearm work when he feels like it. He also reloaded, although mostly shotgun, & likes to talk that sort of thing with me, so he said he would do it as a favor. Just like I said, a "Buddy deal".


G'luck! Regardless of what ya do! It is something to keep in mind, even if ya buy the parts now. Always good to have those sort of contacts, IMO...
