USPS priority mail would probably be cheaper than parcel post. For that matter, UPS ground will probably be cheaper than the post office and would have a better response/resolution if there's an insurance issue. It's worth checking on the prices because there could be a substantial difference. Ups isnt that far out of the way for me to make it worthwhile.
