Ramshot Big Game

Anyone given this one a try? I recently picked up some 190gr Nosler CC to load for 308 and I'm liking the data for Big Game.

Just wondering if anyone's given it a shot and what you think about it.

Looks like I'm going to have to be the pioneer on here for this one. Picked up a pound today, so I'll report results when I get around to loading some up.

Big Game and Hunter have become my go-to rifle powders. Great velocity and accuracy.

I love tac for 223 & 308. Ive read a ton of great reviews on many of their other powders. Let us know

TAC is my favorite powder for 308. Greatly prefer it over Varget. Has performed very well for me in 223 as well, I just haven't explored it as far in that caliber as I have with 308.

TAC in my 223 AI is wonderful. Velocity wise and accurate. I use Big Game in my 22-250 and also Hunter with heavier bullets

I gave up Varget after discovering TAC. IMHO, it outperforms it in every way.


- Equal or better in accuracy
- Groups sizes vary little from min to max loads
- Meters spot on
- Cheaper
- Better availability (usually)
- Doesn't stink up the whole room
