    PC smelted?

    have a half dozen culls that made it into the oven. can they be resmelted? thanks

    Throw some sawdust in with them as flux. It will attract the impurities. Stir your pot well. Remove the burnt sawdust and burnt PC then add more sawdust to keep down the oxidation. I do remelt bad PC always so I can reuse the lead.

    +1 It's actually cleaner than range scrap and a lot of misc alloys we find to smelt.
