Henry Piepers. These are lever actuated rolling block type actions. They used the same action to build 'volley' guns as well, firing up to 7 cartridges at once.

A few more pictures of my Rollers.
This is a #1 I built up from a original Sporting Rifle action, and chambered in .40-65 on a Green Mountain 3.5 weight barrel. Deluxe wood, and skeletonized buttplate.

Another #4 a friend built up for me into a 3 barrel, engraved set. Barrels are .22 Short, .22 LR, and .22 Magnum.

Here's my one and only, the action is a 1902 and the barrel is a C. Sharps off a Hi Wall in 38-55. John King up in Montana put them together and sporterized the action. I bought the wood from Brownell's and put it on and the rear sight is off a Browning 1885 BPCR rifle, got the base from the outfit that made those. Was planning to have the action case hardened but have never got around to it. Here's a couple pics.

That's a good looking Roller McClintock! John King is one of the finest single shot gunsmiths around today! Should send the receiver parts off to Al Springer in Montana and have him color case them. He's very good, and reasonable. My #1 pictured above in .40-65 was done by Al.
