Back strap on the Thanksgiving table is always a hit. Good job.
It's still got milk on its muzzle
Good and tender
Jesus said ( Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest ) Matt. 11:28
It helps the herd by killing more does. A fact lost on so many hunters. And they are so tender!
Tasty sized deer!
I've had to shoot bucks the last 3 years because I can't find a yearling to shoot at. Not only do they taste great, but they work up nice and easy as well. The hide peels right off and they fit right in the fridge.
Nice deer. It is big compared to one I shoot a few years ago with a round ball at 10 feet. Before I field dressed it I could pick it up by all four hooves with one hand and carry it up a 4 foot bank. If it was a fun hunt it was a good hunt.
Steve
Shooting a big deer is fun but when it comes to eating the little ones are the ticket.
Yep!Much better eating!
