Days of Old - When Prices were Bold - Centennial 308 Winchester Box

At the range I at times will collect boxes, trays, etc... to hold reloaded rifle and pistol rounds. Found this one last week. Someone must have cleaned out the back of the closet because there were a lot of older boxes; this one being the oldest.

I do not remember the Centennial Brand, and the price on the box of $3.99 is less than I can recall ever paying for .308's years ago.

    Very cool & lucky find!

I have some older shells around here & some paper shotgun shells, but they just sit on the shelf & collect dust. I don't think I will ever fire them, but my boys or my grandsons might. I probably won't be around when they do though...

    Thanks for sharing the find!
