Heres a little info to help some those of you who want to check the scales settings or a digital at the charge weight quick and easy for often used loads. Check weights sets are available from several sources but can be a pain to "stack up" for often used loads or bigger charges. Heres a easy way to make you own. Very basic but it works.

Simple materials list Brass thin walled tubing from the hobby store or on line
Solder 1/8"

Cut a piece of tubing slightly long and a dia appropriate for the charge you want enough Lip above to grip with tweezers easily Set this in the scales pan. on light charges a piece of tubing may be all that's needed and adjusted to weight.
cut solder to bring to weight + .2gns-.3gns of desired weight with the tube in the scales pan with it this is the weight.
set the tube on a heavy flat piece of aluminum Carbon works to ( solder dosnt adhere to them) melt solder and pour into the tube heat to make the solder flow and fill out the tube.
With a file or backed sand paper adjust the weight down to " zero" on the scales
In this way you can have everything weighed out close and then assemble it together.
