    Scored a 60 to 80 pound shower basin for free today. Was super excited, but the more I read up on it, the more I think I'll have to spend to make useful 9mm boolits with it. Looks like coming up with some wheel weights, Linotype, or Superhard are my only options. I've got some pewter, but wish I had a better antimony source. I almost wonder if pure lead is cost effective to work with, or if it's just better left to the black powder guys..

    I have nothing but soft lead,so I have to live with it.No problem in 44/40 or 45/70 with loads I can stand.Fired plenty in 30/8mm size,but loads must be kept down,wish i could swap some for W/W but they are a thing of the past in lead,all zinc now.Still,I can live with soft lead.You need a good lube,since I started adding 1/2lb of molydag to lube ,no leading at all.
