rl69 (lol , Ronnie ) asked me to put up his ..For thought and meditation thread this weekend . He went deer hunting near Lampasas Texas . Last year he got 3 deer , DANG IT ! He done good ! I'm hoping he did well this weekend , he works hard and long hours but gives us a lesson daily . He is constant .
Lampasas is in the hill country (mid south Texas), pretty country . Had kinfolk there that farmed and had many a good summer there . I am looking for a good report !

I'm back. had a great time. Killed a seven point,the deer just wasn't moving. I only saw 4, a young buck a small shooter( deer have to be at least 13 inches inside spread to be leagel) a small doe and the one I shot
when the dust settles and the smoke clears all that matters is I hear the words " well done my good and faithfully servant "
