Missed a coyote this morning with the 358 Win

My 36-230 NOE flat point was off the mark at 120 yards this morning. Earlier I passed up a 25 yard broadside shot on a 4x4 whitetail, wanted one of the kids to get a shot at him? I would prefer to eat a nice doe, our season goes thru the week. Besides, if I shoot one, the work starts! hc18flyer

Rifle season doesn't start in Kansas for another two weeks or so. Been trying to spend time on stand with the crossbow now, but I just can't seem to get into it this year.

At least you educated the coyote. I wouldn't want them wiped out, but I sure want them to keep a healthy respect for humans. Being shot at whenever they see one is a good start.

That rifle is obviously no good. Send it to me and I'll fix it in a year or more.
