    What is it

    In a box of reloading I was going through. Don't remember where it came from. About 3 3/8" long.

    Does that mark say AI" or "A1"? Any dimensions like diameter, length?

    It's not a definite 1 but could be. As stated above 3 3/8" long.

    Possibly a cut-off from something made on a lathe. Stamped A1 for the type of steel. A1 is a tool steel with nickel and cobalt.
